for best opportunities which branch is good in M TECH for electrical students

dear friend,
there are several branches in mtech for an electrical student. but then, whatever be the branch, you need to score high to flair well.
here are some of the branches:
Aerospace Engineering
power electronics
Electrical device and power
Power Engineering
among these the most widely preferred subject is the power electronics as it has comparatively higher scope in this present scenario.
Also the electrical students can opt for some of the mechanical subjects too in their post graduation. But all these would ask for high scores in GATE exam.so be technically sound and prepare well for the GATE exam.

But before going through GATE get strong in your concepts,refer the books of B.L Thereja,N.C Jagan,William Haith,Pearson publications to get strong in your basic part.

There are many other streams in M.tech like Electrical machines,Network analysis but power electronics is the best.

I know about this because even i am a electrical student.Make sure that you score good marks in GATE and get your course done in a good stream.
