As a commerce graduate, you are eligible to join the administrative branch of merchant navy as pursuer to do the clerical jobs on board. Apart from being a graduate, you must be comfortable with computers.
Apart from merchant navy, there are various other ways to have a better career. You may become a chartered accountant, company secretary or may pursue courses in law which will be more rewarding for you than merchant navy.
It completely depends in which you are interested. Merchant navy is definitely a good option but only for graduates in engineering or other field of science.
