The best colleges in India are definitely IIT's for their infrastructure and placements. But you have to decide the field in which you want to go.
For arts and commerce:Colleges of DU are best For Engineering: IIT's and NIT's For Medical:AIIMS,BHU and colleges which offer admission through PMT entrance test.
