Best engineering or Biotechnology course.

Biotechnology is a branch of engineering in which you study about the

medicine and healthcare. Biotechnology is the addition of Biology and

technology. Career in Biotechnology is a good option in India as the

country has witnessed remarkable growth in biotechnology sector.

You can choose any branch of the engineering in which your interest is

more. I advise you to choose your branch according to own interest not

by the another interest because it is your career so decide self. It will

be batter for you.

with no dout today the best engg. course in india is civil engg. it also has a wide scope world wide.

Both courses are good now a days. But engineering have tha edge. Engineering is little bit better course than biotechnology.

4.civil
5.computer science.

First four are the best because these have a great job option after completing B.Tech.

as i am an engg. student,i wil suggest you to go with this preference order...
1.ece(ever green course and you will have more companies related with ece...it includes IT sector companies as well as electronics related companies like ...tcs,all mobile companies,government companies like BSNL,ECIL,DRDO,DRDL,BHEL...etc...
2.EEE(it is also one of the best and little tough branch).
3.MEC(if your are good enough with inter 2nd year physic,you can opt this branch)
4.CSE(if you go with this branch you don't have chance to write IES exam and also some other entrance exams like ISRO....etc)
This is the preference order what i can suggest you....gud luck.

engineering is better than bio technology because if You may go for core department like electronics ,electrical, civil ,mechanical because this category have lots of chance to crack in govt sector.also this stream are applicable for private sector.
Second choice is it or cs because this category have more jobs in private sector.
every department have lots of higher study scope.

Both the courses have great career prospect but a degree in mechanical, electrical or civil engineering is definitely better. In this post recession period, most of the students are afraid of pursuing courses in biotechnology because biotechnology will not take you too far in a recession hit economy. Apart from this, mere interest in not enough to have a successful career in the field of biotechnology. It is a lab based subject and require extensive facilities at the institutes but most of them do not possess the necessary infrastructure. Besides poor infrastructure, there are not enough qualified teaching staff an they also lack adequate hand on training.
So, if you want to pursue biotechnology, make sure that the institute have qualified faculty and better infrastructure.

the choice depends upon the interest u hav in the field. infact bio tech is also a field of engg..

the engg has various option like civil, mech etc with a promising career options and bio tech has more research options in labs.

bio tech is,Biotechnology is a field of applied biology that involves the use of living organisms and bioprocesses in engineering, technology, medicine and other fields requiring bioproducts. Biotechnology also utilizes these products for manufacturing purpose. Modern use of similar terms includes genetic engineering as well as cell- and tissue culture technologies.

so the choice is left to u to decide depending upon the various factors.

-> Am sure you have compared engineering as the courses like computer science, mechanical, ECE etc....

Biotechnology is a course under engineering. But if you compare B.Sc in biotechnology with engineering then engineering course is better.

Both are good.
Its totaly depends upon your interest and angle at which you see both.
Biotechnology is also a part of engineering.
Now its demand is also high.

*my suggestion is engineering because in this field job opporunites are more.

*The branch you to choose is ece,mechanical and eee.

*you dont choose the branches like cse,it and so on, because in this field income is high but job is guaranted.

*just think yourself and choose that branch.

Bio-technology is the best suited subject for students who are interested in Medical field but opted M.P.C in inter.Bio-technology is a branch of engineering.If you are interested in programming go for CSE.If you interested in Physics particularly semiconductor topic select electronics related branch like ECE,EEE,EIE,ECM,etc.,If you are interested in machines go for mechanical engineering and finally if you are interested in construction go for civil......finally I suggest you to opt a branch in which you are interested.
