If you really want to prepare for the GATE examination ,then firstly you have to make a good command on your stream. In GATE examination ,The questions are really tough . The GATE examination is conducted by the IITs every year for the higher education in the technical field. To apply for the Gate examination a candidate should need the following eligibility criteria:

>Degree in Engineering/ Technology/ Architecture (4 years after 10+2).

>Master degree holders in any branch of Science/ Mathematics/ Statistics/ Computer Applications or equivalent are also eligible.
