General Aptitude & Technical Aptitude.

General aptitude include Intellectual Potential test, Quantitative Aptitude and English Language.

The technical test consists of Questions Related to Particular Stream Like if you are From Engineering Electrical Stream then Form Electrical Background technical Question will be Fetched.

HPCL entrance exam is conducted in two rounds.

1.Written test
In the written examination basically following topics are asked.

a.General Aptitude

b.Technical Aptitude

2.Interview
Candidates who qualify in the written examination are only called for the interview test. The interview test is based on the technical questions.


You can study the following books for the preperation of written examination.

you can study good books like bensal to improve luid mechanics .
you can go through some prtrolium refinery enginering by bhaskara rao ,
hobson gd etc .
you must improve your vocabulary in english study general type question .
