CLAT Exam Details: CLAT is the common law admission test which can be given to seek admission in the top national law universities in India for various under graduate and post graduate programs. To sit for this exam you need to pass your 10+2 exam with minimum 50 percent of marks. In case of SC/ST and OBC categories the percentage to secure is 45 percent. Areas to give special importance: English including Comprehension General Knowledge/ Current Affairs Elementary Mathematics Legal Aptitude/Legal Awareness Logical Reasoning For the post graduate program as well total marks alloted is 200 marks and the duration of the paper is two hours. To prepare for this exam you need to give special importance to the following sections: Law of Contracts, Law of Torts, Criminal Law, Constitutional Law and Legal Theory.
