CDS stands for Combined Defence Service exam
This is an exam to join Defence services
EXAM SYLLABUS : -
1.) General knowledge - 100 marks -------> 120 questions
2. )General english - 100 marks -------> 120 questions
3.) Elementary maths - 100 marks -------> 100 quesiotns
Books to be Referred : -
1.) General knowledge - M.Laxmikanth
2. )General english - Hari prasad
3.) Elementary maths - R.S.Aggarwal
IMPORTANT DATES OF CDS-2 EXAM (2012) : -
Notification releasing date is 02-06-2012
Applications releasing date is 02-07-2012
Exam date is 16-09-2012.

--matriculation or equivalent with 55% or above marks in maths and science


exam procedure:

written exam

physical fitness


you should have qualify this exam :

standard of physical fitness is:

1 mile run to be completed in 7 min

20sit ups
10pusp ups


WRITTEN TEST have 4 section :


section 1: english--pradeep
section2: science--pradeep ,shivlal
section 3: maths--pradeep, shivlal
section 4: gk--pradeep ,shivlal
