How to prepare for Indian Navy Sailors Matric Entry Recruitment Exam?
The Indian Navy Sailors Matric Entry Recruitment Exam held two times every year. This examination notification is published in the Employment News and other important newspapers. The interested applicants need to submit the typed or handwritten application form to the nearest Zonal Recruitment Offices. This examination is conducted for recruiting personnel to the Defence force. Indian Navy is the fifth largest navy in the world and it has more than 55, 000 employees. Unmarried male applicants are qualified for this examination. The aspirant must have an Indian Nationality and they belong to the age group of 17 to 20 years. The applicant must have cleared matriculation or equivalent test from the reputed Institute or School. They should have studied chemistry, mathematics and physics and they should have at least of 55% marks in these subjects.
Structure of Indian Navy Sailors Matric Entry Recruitment Exam
The written examination includes objective type questions. The duration of this examination is 60 minutes. The examination paper is available in English and Hindi language. The questions are from science, English, Mathematics and General Knowledge. The questions are asked from the Matriculation standard level. The candidates who have cleared the written test are required to attend Physical Fitness Test. The aspirants should complete one mile in 7 minutes, 10 push-ups and 20 squats. The applicants are selected based on their performance in the written examination, medical test and physical fitness test.
