I got 12500 rank in vit i need to know which branch is alloted to me in vit university

with a rank of 12500, you may get courses like civil, mechanical in the chennai campus but getting a seat in the vellore campus will be difficult as the top rankers take all the seats away and not much is left by the end of 12000 rank. You may attend the counselling session scheduled on 16th may, 2012 to now the branch which could be alloted to you. Good luck

Getting admission in VIT university on the grounds of merit with a rank in excess of 20000 is not possible. This year the top 20000 rankers have been called for counselling and the seats will mostly be completely taken by them.

You may look to take admission in other universities such as SRM,BITS, Manipal, etc.
