Re: Branches in ME after be BE mechanical?
Hi friend,
Different fields are there to study ME after doing BE in Mechanical engineering. You can take subjects like Automobile engg, production engg, Instrumentation engg, Aerospace engg, Marinel engg, Aircraft maintenance engg, Powerplant engg, Mechatronics etc. These branches specially offers their individual criteria based studies related to mechanical engineering in graduation level. So opt for any one of these branches as you find the best for doing master degree. Best of luck! |

Re: Branches in ME after be BE mechanical?
Hi,
After completing BE Mechanical, It is department specialization which actually happens in ME. Different Institutes offers courses with different titles. It is your requirement for which specialisation, is one to be found out. Titles common in most institutes are, M.E., with specialization in: Thermodynamics Fluid Dynamics Refrigeration Internal Combustion Engines Gas Turbines and Jet Propulsion Dynamic Problems in Design Design and Analysis of Rotating Machinery Dynamics Mechanics of Materials Mechanics of Materials Laboratory Manufacturing Processes Geometric Modeling for Engineering Applications Design Problems in Elasticity Automatic Controls Computer Control of Machines and Processes Mechanical Systems Analysis Kinematics and Dynamics of Machine Systems Advanced Mechanics of Machinery Thermal Systems Modeling Welding Metallurgy Macromolecular Hydrodynamics Product Design Cryogenics Applied Combustion Experimental Mechanics Computational Fluid Dynamics Solid Modeling Turbulent Heat and Momentum Transfer Advanced Powder Processing and Particulate Engineering Modeling and Simulation in Polymer Processing etc It depends on the Courses and availability in the Institutes. The Course title may differ from the above mentioned. So It upto you to decide in which field you are interested and in which field you want to specialize. All the best. |
