i am athird year BE mechanical engineering student under vinayaka missions university.i like to study ME after completing my BE.so i would like to know about the different branches for ME those are releted to be mechanical.and the other courses which are possible to join a mechanical under graguate person.

You can take subjects like Automobile engg, production engg, Instrumentation engg, Aerospace engg, Marinel engg, Aircraft maintenance engg, Powerplant engg, Mechatronics etc.

These branches specially offers their individual criteria based studies related to mechanical engineering in graduation level.

So opt for any one of these branches as you find the best for doing master degree.

You should appear for GATE to get into a ME program in most of the top most technical universities in India. Now with in ME there are few 10's of areas where you can choose like automobile, fluid dynamics, refrigeration, heavy machinery, plant design and so on.
