No, calculator is not allowed in CSIR NET exam in any stream. Also, the aspirants are not allowed to bring pager, cellular phone, log tables, digital diary, etc. in the examination hall. You should bring Admit Card at the examination centre otherwise you will not be allowed to appear for the exam. The first paper has negative marking for incorrect answer. Those who failed to appear in Paper I will not be permitted to appear in Paper II. You have to use only black ball point pen to mark the answers in the OMR sheet.

Hi

CSIR National Eligibility Test is organized to give the NET degrees to the qualified professionals. Its a competitive examination.

It basically consists of 2 papers :

PAPER 1 --> PAPER 2.

So Paper 1 has to be cleared in order to appear in Paper 2.

Now for your information, no calculator is allowed in CSIR NET exam be it for any stream. No kinds of Calculators, Mobile phones, Laptops, Log Tables, or Digital diaries are allowed in the exam hall.

Hope this helps

Regards
