Can a B.Sc Biotechnology holder studying in 2nd year of B.Ed eligible to apply for TET exam as an appearing candidate?
Hello sir, I have finished B.Sc Biotechnology and now studying 2nd year of B.Ed course. Am I eligible to apply for TET exam as an appearing candidate?

TET stands for Teacher Eligibility Test and candidates have to qualify in examination for recruitment as teacher.
The eligibility to appear for examination is that candidate must have passed bachelor dergree and have B.Ed degree from a recognised university. So, you will be eligible to appear for examination only after completion of degree. The candidates have to qualify in examination for final selection as teacher in government schools. |

Pursuing candidates are not eligible to appear for examination so you will be eligible to appear for examination only after successful completion of the degree.
The eligibility to appear for examination is candidate must have passed bachelor in education along with bachelor degree to appear for examination. So, you must have to wait till completion of degree but you should prepare for examination to qualify in examination. |

TET stands for Teacher Eligibility Test.
Eligibility criteria for this entrance examination: *Bachelor's degree in Education with 60% marks or more. B.Ed final year appearing candidates can also apply for this examination. You can apply for coming TET in 2017 with your specified academic qualification. |

TET stands for Teacher Eligibility Test.
This entrance exam has following eligibility criteria: 1. The minimum educational qualification is Bachelor of Education from a recognized university. 2. Final year candidates of B.Ed can also apply for this course. You being Bachelor of Science in Biotechnology and pursuing second year of Bachelor of Education can apply for TET. |

TET refers to Teacher Eligibility Test and it is held for recruitment of teachers in government schools. Basically TET are of two types one is CTET ( Central Teacher Eligibility Test ) held for recruitment for teacher in Centrally Funded Schools where as other one is State TET held for recruitment of teachers in schools managed by State government.
Being a final year student of B.Ed degree you are not eligible for appearing in TET as far the same one having B.Ed degree with 60% are only eligible.
