can a Bsc computerscience,B.A additional with BEd graduation attend TET exam?

Yes you can appear for the Teachers Eligibility Test (TET). The requirement is graduation degree along with Bachelor of Education. Since you have both there should not be any issue to apply for the Teachers Eligibility Test.

This test was introduced by the Ministry of Human Resources and Development to improve educational standards in government schools. It is now mandatory for the state governments to recruit the teachers through their own Teachers Eligibility Test (TET).

Each state conducts its own TET entrance exam. Those who do not conduct this test have tor recruit teachers on the performance in CTET entrance exam. Central Teachers Eligibility Test (CTET) is conducted for central government schools.

The CTET entrance exam is conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). The CTET is generally considered to be tougher in comparison with TET entrance exam. However since all CBSE schools are required to hire candidates from CTET entrance exam, it is generally preferred by the candidates.


TET Eligibility

1. You should be Indian citizen.

2. Bachelor degree in any stream.

3. At least 50 percent marks.

4. Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) degree is also required.

5. There is no upper age limit. Although this could vary from state to state.

You should ba a citizen of india.
You should be a graduate in any stream from a recognized indian university with a minimum of 50% marks. And along with the graduation, you need to have a bachelor of education degree.
There is no restriction for the age limit in giving the exam. And as you fulfill all of the above required qualifications, you are eligible of giving the TET exam.

Yes surely you can apply for TET examination if you are B.Sc in Computer Science and have done B.Ed.

For attending TET one has to complete B.Ed or its equivalent course after Graduation.

TET is Teachers Eligibility Test for recruiting teachers in Government schools.

Without qualifying TET one can not get a Government teachers post.

As you are a Computer Science Graduate hence you will be appointed as Computer Science teacher in schools.

The TET examination is conducted by every state government and CBSE conducts CTET on all Indian basis for Central Government schools like KVs, Jawahar Navodaya etc.

So you can apply for any TET based on your interest and where you want to work.

Eligibility criteria for TET exam :


Candidate must have passed Graduation from any recognized university.

B.Ed is necessary for TET.

Age is between 20 to 40 years.

ST/SC gets 5 years age relaxation.

OBC gets 3 years age relaxation.

PH gets 10 years age relaxation.

Candidate must be a citizen of India.
