Re: Can a Commerce candidate become Engineer?
Hello friend,
To become an engineer, a candidate must have studied Maths and Physics at +2 level. An individual who hasn't studied these subjects cannot go for further studies in this field. So, it is not possible for candidates, belonging to commerce background, to pursue courses in engineering. |

Re: Can a Commerce candidate become Engineer?
Hi Dear
After complete your Commerce then you want to do engineering career that is too difficult now but not impossible . if you have strong confidence and willing power then every thing is possible. For becoming a Engineer criteria:- *Candidate should pass 12th science with Physics,Chemistry,Mathematics as a subject in 12th. *minimum 50% mark in 12th that is compulsory *Age- 18 to unlimited but some institute in INDIA they have some rules like IIT- 17 to 23 years candidate available for exam. SO after commerece you do engineering but some problem for you and time wastage but for that you have go for further study in commerce that will help you for future. Here i Attach for you one chart in which all career related item available there:- Good Luck................... |

Can a Commerce candidate become Engineer? I am so sorry to say you that a Commerce Candidate can never be an Engineer . For being an engineer you must have science stream in class 12th and that too with mathematics subjects means in class 12th , you must have Physics, Chemistry and Maths as cumpulsory subjects. After passing class 12th with PCM, the candidates are needed to write an engineering entrance exams like IIT-JEE and AIEEE to get good engineering college .The duration of B.Tech or B.E course is 4 years so it will take 4 years to become an engineer after class 12th. If you want to do engineering even after commerce then you will have to again pass class 12th with PCM otherwise there is no any process . With Regards ravik1214 |

Re: Can a Commerce candidate become Engineer?
A commerce graduate can not become an engineer. To study engineering one has to study science stream in the HS 10+2.
If anybody has not studied science in the 10+2, then he/she is not eligible to take up engineering/polytechnic/architecture. You can always look for other careers in the commerce stream such as B.Com, BBA , BBM etc. All th best. Regards RJ. |

Re: Can a Commerce candidate become Engineer?
dear friend,
Yes, you can become engineer being a commerce student.. for that you have to appear in entrance exams like- IIT-JEE, AIEEE on 12th basis... If you have done your 12th in science then you can appear in those entrance exam.. on the basis of that entrance exam you will be able to take admission in engineering.. But in that case your age must not be more than 25 years. So, go for it.. All the best. |

Re: Can a Commerce candidate become Engineer?
hi,
it is not possible that a commerce student can become an engineer,if any one want to do this then it will be very difficult or time vesting thing.he has to do again 12 with science, which is very not good for carrier.you have to start all thing by initial which is time vesting. why do you not try in your own field, commerce is not bad field,if you think then you find a number of opportunity in this field also.you chose commerce field by thinking any thing,so remember that thing you defiantly find something best in your commerce field.in this field you know more comparison to other field because you did study in this as a course.Make next step by your own field that is commerce with confident and interest you defiantly find something best . lastly ,this is your carrier you should take your own decision after reading this. best of luck ***chandni*** |

Option 1: U need to clear +2 with science & then enroll fo BE. Option 2: Enroll for Diploma in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, electrical, etc) based on your 10th exam (SSLC). After completing Diploma (3 yrs), then u can get into 2nd year BE. So to get BE, u will spending 6 years of effort. |

Re: Can a Commerce candidate become Engineer?
-> Commerce and engineering are totally different .
-> Commerce refers to accounts whereas engineering refers to development of technology . -> But still you can join in engineering college but through open category because if you wanted to do it through normal category you need to finish your +2 from physics and mathematics background with pass percentage then you are eligible to do so .. |
