This course contain two ways of entries are there

1)Through the CPT,

2)Through the graduation

Through CPT

Qualification for CPT ;
You must have +2 (or) are equivalent to +2 course with any stream.
And no percentage is required for this course.
And no age limit also required

Through the graduation ;

For this you must have degree eligibility ;

As per the new rules of ICAI you can join in IPCC with the following qualification ;
If you belongs to commers background must have at least 55%.
And in case of Other graduations are must have at least60%.
If you have any above qualification you can join in IPCC course.

You must qualifing this IPCC both groups otherwise not eligible for forthere coursrs.

After this course you are eligible for CA final course
And you must qualifing this exam then only you will be a CA.

IPCC is the Intermediate course of Charted Accountancy.You will able to do this course after completing your CPT Foundation course.To take admission in this course you will required to meet these Eligibility conditions :

• You should be pass out in Graduation degree course from recognized university.
• Your minimum marks in Graduation course should be 45%.
• Your minimum age should be 17 years.

As you have completed your bachelor degree course and you have secured 50% thus you will be eligible to take admission in this course.But if your age will less then 17 years then you will not be able to take admission in this course.


Under this course the subjects which you will have to study is as follows :


Group I

• Financial Accounting.
• Laws,Ethics and Governance.
• Direct Taxation.
• Cost Accounting and Financial Management.

Group II

• Operation Management and Information System.
• Cost and Management Accountancy.
• Indirect Taxation.
• Company Accounts and Audit.

Training For Intermediate Course

• 100 Hours of Computer Training.
• Communication and Soft Skills for 3 days a week.
  

Sorry B.Com. with 50% marks in not enough for applying directly to CA IPCC course.

At least 55% marks in B.Com is required for getting admission into CA IPCC directly.

For Non Commerce Graduates the percentage required is 60% for directly applying for CA IPCC.

You are not eligible means you have to appear for CA CPT and clear it then only you will be eligible for CA IPCC .

CA CPT has following subjects:

-Accounting

-Mercantile Laws

-General Economics

-Quantitative Aptitude

You have to score at leas 50% marks in the CPT to become eligible for CA IPCC.

The questions paper will have objective type questions and there will be 2 sessions for examination.

So get yourself prepared for the CA CPT examination because this is the only way left for your to enter CA IPCC.

No you will first have to clear the Common Proficiency Test. The direct admission that you are looking for is not available for you since the eligiblity criteria is not being met.

For direct admission in IPCC, you should meet the certain percentage criteria in graduation.

Commerce graduates need 55 percent marks.

Non Commerce graduates should have 60 percent marks.

Unfortunately your marks are below the level required in the Bachelor of Commerce to take admission directly in the IPCC. Which means that Common Proficiency Test is important to be cleared for you, if want to become Chartered Accountant.

The Common Proficiency Test is conducted twice a year and you should have passed at least 12th standard to appear for it. There are 4 subjects divided into two groups. There 4 subjects are:

1. Fundamentals of Accountancy

2. Economics

3. Mercantile Law

4. Quantitative Aptitude

You will have to score 30 percent marks in each group only then you will clear the Common Proficiency Test. After which you can apply for the IPCC course. You will have to study for 9 months after which you can appear for the first group examination of IPCC.

Following which take admission for the 3 years articleship and during the period clear the second group of examination. This should be followed by Final Examination.

But to appear for final examination you will have to wait. Only when 6 months are left in completing the articleship, you can appear for the Final Examination. The Final examination is the toughest part of Chartered Accountancy. There are 2 groups in it and only very few manages to clear it every year.

Yes, of course you are eligible to apply for IPCC after completing B.Com.

As your percentage is 50%, if belong to reservation category you have good chances of applying for the course.

So I suggest you to go through the notification in detail before applying and if you satisfy the criteria you can apply for the course.
