Can i appear for MCA exam if i have lost 5 years between 10th and 12th?


Sir, i have done my 10th in 2001 with 55% marks and 12th in 2007 with 45% presently i am final student of bca from smu can i sit mca entrance exam?

Yes you are eligible for the MCA entrance exam. After completing BCA
course you can apply for the MCA entrance exam. If you are in the
final year of BCA then you can also apply in the final year of BCA.

MCA is the master degree course and it is equal to the postgraduate
degree. You have 5 years gap between the 10th and 12th so i think
that in the placement after MCA you have some problem because many
company take maximum 2 years gap in the Academic year.

But don't worry for some company you are eligible. So do study without
any tension. After completing MCA you will get a good job in a big
IT company.

yes you are applicable for mca entrance because their is only criteria is bca passed ,bsc(math ,it, cs)..


So you can apply for this post.

But you have not good marks in 10+2 it will give some problem when you will facing some inteview...
