Can I sit for TCS after scoing 71% in 10th and 59% in 12th?
Eligibility Criteria For TCS - To Apply For TCS, A Candidate Must Have A 60% Marks in Class 10th, 12th, Graduation And In Post Graduation Including All the Semester And Optional Subject. So, You Can Not Maintain the 60% Marks. So, I Think You Are Not Eligible to Apply for TCS Written Exams. Because 60% Consistent Academic Records from Class 10th Onwards is Compulsory. And Not more than 2 Years break in Academics Or In Employment. So, I Think You Are Not Full Fill The Eligiblity Creteria, Then You Are Not Eligible for TCS Written Exams. |

Re: Can I sit for TCS after scoing 71% in 10th and 59% in 12th?
Eligibility Criteria For TCS -
(1)A candidate must maintain 60% marks throughout his life means in all forms of major degrees such as class 10th ,12th , b.tech , m.tech e.t.c. Your all round performance should be pleasing or else there would not be a scope for you in this company in future. (2)You should not have more than 2 years of gap between two academic achievements. This would indeed have a negative impact in your career. SINCE YOU FAILED TO MAINTAIN THE 60% TALLY THROUGHOUT YOUR CAREER , YOU ARE NOT ELIGIBLE . But don't worry . if you have knowledge then you will find good jobs in some other companies. try to gain some experiance in these companies and then apply for TCS with experiance , you will definitely find a job . |

Re: Can I sit for TCS after scoing 71% in 10th and 59% in 12th?
Hi,
TCS(Tata Consultancy Services) is a best software company for CS and IT student's. Eligibility Criteria for TCS 2010 Recruitment 1. Students should have 60% and above throughout his / her career. 2. No standing backlogs are allowed. 3. There should not be a gap of more than 2 years in the education. 4. M.Tech and MCA students having 3 or more than 3 years experience are not allowed. 5. Students pursuing full time courses are only allowed to attend the recruitment. According to these criteria you are not eligible for TCS entrance exam. You have not maintained over all 60% marks. You can try for other companies for placement. Best of luck. |

Re: Can I sit for TCS after scoing 71% in 10th and 59% in 12th?
Kumari,
I fear that TCS has a cut off or you can call it an eligibility criteria to maintain atleast 60% in your Xth standard. I can tell you from a real life example. In my college, TCS came in for the first day slot and one student who had about 78 in the graduation , 75 in XII But 59.6 in Xth, was not allowed to appear for aptitude as they were very very stringent. However do not lose hope there are many other companies who actually do not look so deeply.Keep trying you ll surely get a good job. |

Re: Can I sit for TCS after scoing 71% in 10th and 59% in 12th?
hello friend....
3 months back we had TCS in our campus.. the eligibility criteria for TCS is 60% in 10th,12th and UG degree... one of my friend had 59.6 in UG degree he was not allowed to write the aptitude test... now TCS its not the end of day there are n number of company around so you can very well join in those kind of small companies which allows without the marks of 10th and 12th later you can jump into top MNC like TCS with 2 or 3 yrs experience... so dont lose your hope gear up and prepare well for a fun filled future... |

Re: Can I sit for TCS after scoing 71% in 10th and 59% in 12th?
Eligibility Criteria for TCS selection is :-
1.)need to have consistence 60% from 10th,12th and B.tech.. 2.)Should not have more than 2years Education Gap.... That mean you should have a consistency of 60% but in 12th you have 59%.. But if you bring good in your graduation you can appear for it........only lack of 1% doesnot effect much but if the competition is more than there might be a chance of eliminating you... TCS recruitment procedure:-- 1.)Written Test. 2.)Technical Interview 3.)Hr interview TCS ENTRY SCHEME FOR FRESHERS:-- 1.)campus placement i.e. come to you college. procedure to apply:-- in good colleges it come so need to worry. 2.)Direct recruitment. procedure to apply:-- login to this website and create your resume http://www.careers.tcs.com/ whenever requirement will be there, they will call you. |

Hello,
" NO " you cannot sit for TCS after scoring 71 % in 10th and 59 % in 12th standard. Because minimum eligibility for TCS is: - 1. 10th standard = 60 % 2. 12th standard = 60 % 3. B.E. or B.Tech. = 65 % For more information visit TCS website. Good Bye |

sorry friend you can not sit for TCS,
TCS demands 60% throughout the academic career In+2 10th graduation . since you have only 59 percent in+2 you can't sit these criteria are very strict. |

Also you should not have any backlogs too. One more point is that you should not have a gap of more than 2 years. You have not completed your degree so firstly you need to complete your degree. Also as you dont have 60% in 12th , you cant sit for TCS. But you can work for some other company , gain experience & then later on work for TCS. |
