Can I appear for NET in Political Science? Eligibility and criteria?

Hi, I have completed my Masters in Public Administration. Now, am I eligible to apply for NET in Political Science? Will it be a good choice? If yes, then also share past year papers.

Having completed your Master's in Public Administration, you are not eligible to appear in NET (National Eligibility Test) with Political Science being your concerned paper as for appearing in the NET with Political Science as your concerned paper, you are required to have completed your Master's degree in Political Science with at least 55% marks (or 50% marks in case of SC/ST or PH category candidates) from a recognised university.

For more details regarding UGC NET, you can refer to the link www.ntanet.nic.in.
