Bachelor of Education or B.Ed course is a graduation degree which is important to become government teacher these days. The competitive exams to become teacher requires B.Ed as one of the criteria.

Now to answer your question, yes you can apply for the B.Ed course after completing Bachelor of Business Administration. You see it does not matter whether you have completed BCA/BBA/BA etc, all you need is graduation degree to apply for B.Ed course.

Once you have completed the B.Ed course, apply for the CTET or state TET exam and you could become teacher for Class I to VIII for the central and state government funded schools.

B.Ed Eligibility

1. You need to complete graduation course before applying for B.Ed course.

2. At least 50 percent marks are required in graduation course.

3. OBC candidates need 45 percent marks in graduation.

4. The requirement for SC/ST is 40 percent marks.

5. Your educational patter should be 10+2+3.

There are various entrance exams for B.Ed course. Several universities conduct entrance exams. The exam pattern is almost similar:

General Awareness Test

Teaching Potential Test

General Mental Ability Test

Language Proficiency Test

Language Proficiency Test: English and/or Hindi

Like I mentioned earlier after completing B.Ed you can appear in the state TET or the CTET exam.

Eligibility

1. Candidate should be Indian citizen.

2. A graduation degree in any stream from a recognised university.

3. It is also required to complete B.Ed course.

4. At least 55 percent marks in B.Ed course.

5. There is no age limit for TET exam.
