NO.your not eligible for civil services.The candidate should be at least a degree holder from any university in the country. Final year students, awaiting results are also eligible.so that why wait for few years after apply..............

Civil services exam is conducted by the UPSC,India and for the eligibility,you should be a graduate from any recognised university.

So,you cant write for this exam after your +2,finish your graduate and you can write.

It is a good thing that you want to go for the civil services, but you cannot apply for the civil service exam straight after class 12.

The minimum eligibility for Civil Service Exams states that a candidate must be a graduate in any field from a recognized university. Also a final year student can apply.

So complete your class 12 and then go for graduation from a recognized university. Work hard throughout the years and prepare well for the exams. Once you are in the final year or have passed graduation, then you can apply.

So you cannot apply right now, but later in future.

It is not possible to appear for civil services examination soon after the completion of 10+2.

The minimum qualification with which one can appear for civil services examination is graduation from a recognized university.

Candidates with any discipline in graduation are eligible to appear for the exam.

As per the age criteria, one should be in the age group of 21-30 years to be eligible for civil services exam.

Relaxation is there in upper age limit for the candidates of SC/ST and OBC.

So, first try to complete your graduation first with good percentage of marks.

By the time you appear for IAS exam, try to see that you should be good enough in general awareness and aptitude.

Its Good that, you are interested for UPSC Civil services examination. But sorry to say, that you are not eligible to apply for UPSC civil services examination. Because to apply for This examination, you must have completed your graduate degree from a recognised colleges. And without Graduation, you are not eligible to apply for this examination.

So, if you are interested in this examination, then please complete your graduation first, only then you are eligible to apply for this examination.

And to appear in this examination, your age should between 21 to 30 years. The exams are conducted in 2 phases - preliminery exam and Main exam, After clear the Preliminery exam, you are eligible to apply for Main exam. The general candidates will gets only 4 attempts in this examination and the notification of this exam are generally published in the month of feb. The notification are updated in the UPSC official website OR in the employment newspaper.

Nationality: indian or indian by origin
Academic: minimum a bachelors degree from any recognized university in any discipline
Age:minimum of 21 years and maximum of 30 years
numbers of attempts: OC-4, OBC-7 and SC/ST-no limit

so minimum a bachelors degree is required for applying for civil services exam and you cannot apply directly after 12th class.

You are bound to complete your graduation in order to appear for the Civil Services Exam..without the graduation degree,you are not allowed to sit for the Civil Services Exam..

In order to appear for the Civil Services Exams..candidates need to first fulfill the following eligibility criteria :-

1) The candidates must be within the age limit of 21-30 years for general candidates,21-33 years for OBC and 21-35 years for SC/ST

2) You should have completed your graduation in any stream from a recognized University..

The maximum number of attempts permissible for the general candidates os 4,for OBC it is 7 and there is no limit for SC/ST..
