I have completed my Graduation in BMS ( Bachelor of Management Studies), in April , 2010
This is a 3 yr Degree where in v hv 6 semisters
In 5th sem we have Human Resource management as a Subject
can i apply for IBPS specialist officer PO in HR scale I

i have completed GNIIT course from NIIT .Its a complete computer course .can i apply for this post?

Having Human Resource Management, just as one of the subjects in the management program is not enough to be eligible for the post of Human Resource Officer in the participating banks. To be eligible to write the Specialist Officer Exam, conducted by the IBPS, for the post of HR Officer, you must have specialized in Human Resource Management either as a degree program or a diploma program approved by All India Council for Technical Education.
Apart from the desired academic qualification, you must be within the age limit of 20-35 years for the same.

Last date to apply for the IBPS Specialist officers exams is 28th January 2013
You can apply through the website www.ibps.in

Eligibilty to apply for the HR officer/Personnel Officer Scale 1 is:
Graduate and Post Graduate degree or diploma in Personnel Management / Industrial Relations/ HRD/Social Work / Labour Law OR Degree/Diploma in Business Administration/ Management with specialization in HRD.

Minimum age to apply is 20 years
Maximum age to apply is 35 years

While filling the online form you have to choose the specialization:
Management with Specialization in HRD
Or
HRD

Both these options are available in the drop down list under subject/stream of the form.
