I have completed B.Sc Computer Science from a college affiliated to University of Calicut. Am l eligible for Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (K-TET) examination? If yes, then also let me know by when and how should I apply for K-TET?

Can I apply for K-TET with B.Sc Computer Science?

Yes, you can certainly apply for K-TET with B.Sc in Computer Science . However, you would need to pursue B.ed.

As per the education department,

1)To become a teacher for Lower Primary Classes( Class 1 to 5), you must be Higher Secondary/ Senior Secondary pass with minimum 45% marks and two year Trained Teachers’ Certificate (TTC) conducted by Board of Examination, Govt. of Kerala or its equivalent. or B.ed with minimum 45% marks.
2)To become a teacher of Upper Primary Classes (Class 6 to 8), you must be BA/BSc/BCom with at least 45% marks and 1 year Bachelor in Education (BEd) from a recognized university.

Once you complete B.ed, you can apply for the K-TET online.
