i am complete b.tech with aggeregate 55%.can i apply for m.tech.

Admission to M.Tech courses is offered on the basis of GATE exam. The candidate should have passed B.Tech with 60% marks to apply for the exam. Certain Universities carry out their own entrance test for the selection process. The eligibility requirements may vary slightly with the authority that carry out the test. Most of the Universities prefer 60% marks in the qualifying examination. You have to understand the notification in detail before applying for the exam.

1.Academic qualification :
The candidate should complete graduation
Final year student can also apply for GATE 2012
There should not be any pending backlogs while appearing for GATE

2.Age limitation :
The age of the candidate must be within 20 to 28 years.
But the candidate can only make 3 attempts.
