Can I apply for MP PMT for admission in government medical college?


sir my birth in madhya pradesh 1993 but now i am living in chhattisgarh i also completed higher secondery education from chhattisgarh can i apply for mp pmt for govt medical cllege

luk although your birth place is mp but since you have done your schooling from chattisgarh so youcan though apply for mp pmt but you'llnot get the privileged seats on the quota being a student of the same city

If you have the Residential certificate from the Government of Madhya Pradesh thjen you can apply for MP PMT(Madhya Pradesh Pre Medical test) .In order to apply for this entrance test you should have a Domicile of Madhya Pradesh State.This exam is conducted by the Madhya Pradesh Professional Examination Board.

By qualifying this entrance test you will able to take admission in the given list of courses :
  • MBBS/BDS.
  • B.V.SC and A.H /B.F.SC.
Educational qualification required :
  • Candidates should be Intermediate/10+2 pass out from recognized board/university.
  • Candidates should have a combination of Physics,Chemistry and Biology in Intermediate/10+2.
  • Candidates should be subjectively pass out in all the subjects.
Marks :
  • General Candidates should have a minimum of 50% marks in Intermediate.
  • SC/ST/OBC Candidates should have a minimum of 45% marks in Intermediate.
Age :
  • You should be or above 17 years at the time of admission.
  • Age relaxation will be provided to SC/ST/OBC candidates up to 5 years.
Exam Pattern and Syllabus


All the questions of this entrance test will be from 10+2 level.
Total duration of this entrance test will be of 3 hours.
Questions will be from Physics,Chemistry and Biology.
Total marks for this entrance test will be 300.


Application Form Fee


General & OBC candidates - Rs 700.
SC/ST/PH Candidates - Rs 350
