I have Public Administration, History, Philosophy, Hindi, English in B.A. Can i apply for TGT Social Science OR TGT English. Please tell me . Thanks

Firstly you have to complete B.Ed course after graduation.

Eligibility for TGT Social science and TGT english:-

Student must have passed B.A and B.Ed with minimum 50% aggregate marks from a recognized university.

For TGT English you have to passed B.A in english as elective subject and 1 year B.Ed with minimum 50% aggregate marks from a recognized university.

I have done graduation in geography (hons). In my honours subject i have 48 percent but combination of geography and economics i have 50.3 percent and aggregate i have 52.8 percent am i eligible for tgt and prt in kvs

For applying to TGT, you need to have 50% in concerned subject/combination subject and in aggregate in bachelor's degree. Also need to qualify the CTET paper II, conducted by CBSE, and proficiency in Hindi and English medium.

For PRT,Senior Secondary School certificate with 50% marks and qualify the CTET conducted by CBSE. Also competence to teach in English and Hindi. Knowledge in Computer Application is desirable.

I have cleared ctet in social studies but my elective subject is English. Can I apply for tgt English?
