Hi, I have completed my B.Sc Mathematics. So, now am I eligible to apply and write the Maharashtra Public Service Commission (MPSC) examination? Further, do I need to write this MPSC examination only for district Collector?

MPSC is Maharashtra Public Service Commission. It is conducted for recruitment in state service.

The eligibility to appear in the examination is that candidate must have passed bachelor degree in any discipline from a recognised university. The age limit varies with examination.

You are not eligible for recruitment as collector after qualifying in the examination. For selection as an officer you will have to qualify in MPSC examination.
