Re: Can I become Chartered Accountant after completion of B.Com?
Hi dear..........
After completion you can not be called as Chartered Accountant for this you have to appear CA exam , After graduation you can direct enter in to Inter after clearing both group in inter then final after completion of Final then only you can be called as CA. The eligibility criteria & details I am attaching : For more details visit ICAI. http://www.icai.org Good luck.......... |

Re: Can I become Chartered Accountant after completion of B.Com?
Hi Aspirant
Well yes why not you cab become charted accountant after completing your graduation as a person can do CA After graduation as well as before graduation too means after 12th class too as both category students allowed for the charted accountant course and simply you are eligible for this exam. You will also get a benefit as your course duration will decrease as after graduation the course duration is 2 years but before graduation it's duration is 5 years and also you will get exemption from the CPT(Common Proficiency Test) Which is taken by the ICA As entrance exam for the course and you have to do now Ipcc and the Finals and if you will be able to clear these than you will get a nice job or i can say a dream job because this post is also a dream post as you also know it better because their is no post better than this in specially commerce field. Best Of Luck |

Re: Can I become Chartered Accountant after completion of B.Com?
Of course you can apply for the Chartered Accountancy course after Bachelor of Commerce or any other graduation degree. There is no such rule that only 12th pass candidates are eligible for the Chartered Accountancy course.
The first stage of the CA course is Common Proficiency Test. It has to be cleared to go ahead and pursue stage 2. However the graduation degree holders are not necessarily required to appear for the exam. Under the rules of ICAI, graduates can seek exemption from appearing for the Common Proficiency Test. It is possible in the following scenario. 55 percent marks in commerce graduation. 60 percent marks in non commerce graduation. If you completed Bachelor of Commerce with 55 percent or more marks then there is no need to appear for the Common Proficiency Test. Simply apply for the IPCC course. In other scenario, it is mandatory to clear Common Proficiency Test. By other scenario I mean if you scored less than 55 percent in Bachelor of Commerce. In the Common Proficiency Test, there are four subjects:- 1. Fundamentals of Accountancy 2. Economics 3. Mercantile Law 4. Quantitative Aptitude These four subjects are divided into two groups in Common Proficiency Test. If you scored 30 percent or more marks in each group, you will clear the Common Proficiency Test and apply for the IPCC. Integrated Professional Competancy Course (IPCC) is the second stage of Chartered Accountancy. You will have to study the course for 9 months following which group 1 exam can be given. Group 1 1. Accounting 2. Business Laws,Ethics and Communication 3. Cost Accounting and Financial Management 4. Taxation After which you should start the years long articleship and during which first complete the second group of IPCC. Group 2 5. Advanced Accounting 6. Auditing and Assurance 7. Information Technology and Strategic Management After clearing IPCC when there are only 6 months left to complete articleship, you can appear for the Final Examination. Group 1 1. Financial Reporting 2. Strategic Financial Management 3. Advanced Auditing and Professional Ethics 4. Corporate and Allied Laws Group 2 5. Advanced Management Accounting 6. Information System control and Audit 7. Direct Tax Laws 8. indirect tax Laws |

Re: Can I become Chartered Accountant after completion of B.Com?
You can apply for CA just after +2 or after b.Com along with m.com.once you complete m.com then you can directly apply for CA without giving CA cpt but just after b.com you can't apply for it.
