I am an M.A English, B.Ed. Can i become a pgt (english)..is tet compulsory for it in himachal pradesh?

In Himachal Pradesh, HPPSC conducts entrance exam HP PGT to become a PGT. You are eligible to apply for HP PGT as you are M.A.(English) holder with B.Ed.

HP PGT Eligibility
- You must have passed master's degree with respective subject with at least 50% aggregate from a recognized university.
- You must have passed B.Ed with at least 50% from a recognized university.
- Your age should be between 18 to 45 years. Relaxation applicable to reserved categories as per norms.

Selection
- Written Test
- Interview

HP PGT Exam Pattern
- Total Questions : 100
- 80 Q will be asked from the syllabus of master's
- 10 Q will be asked from General Knowledge of HP.
- 10 Q will be asked from General Knowledge of Nation & International Affairs.

HP PGT Application Procedure
- Go to site : www.hppsc.hp.gov.in
- Click "Registration Section" & Register yourself.
- Download PGT Advertisement & Read carefully.
- Fill the application form with correct details.
- Upload the scanned copies of supporting documents to complete the application.
- Pay the application fee.
- Print the application for your future reference.

Application Fees
- General Category : Rs.400/-
- OBC/SC/ST : Rs.100/-
- Ex-Servicemen : No Fees
