well in almost all universities you can change your college in 2nd year with branch .but that college should come under the university in which you are studying only then you can change it.

they set a minimum percentage and according to it they make their own merit list and then you can get admission to any college you want and in any branch .


one thing more seat should be available only then you can get admission .

Yes you can change you college after 1st year but you have to clear all your paper till 1st year. Every private or government college have procedure for transfer of college under the same university.
So you can concern with the authority of your college for the college transfer.

Definately you can change your college as well as your stream but your university should be same,because you are registerd in this university for 4 years...

yes you may change your college in second year after studying in first year in any college in West bengal university of technology(WBUT).


but for this you should have good academic qualification in first year of B.Tech. to change your college first you should contact with your university. they will give you one application form. you have to fill up the application form and you have to submit it to the university. there you have to write your choice of college where you want to shift. if there is seat available and if you are eligible then university will confirm you about your change of college.


one important thing is if you change your college in the new institution you have to give again admission fees and caution money and other fees. even your previous institution may not return your caution money.


before applying to the university first contact with your institution and where you want to shift. find out availability of seat in your desired institution.

you can change your college. but you have to follow few procedures declared by your university. you may have to study extra subjects

according to me you can change your college but then your one year will be completely wasted ....again you have to study the 1st year again .....

but if you want to change and be in the 2nd year then i think it can not be done ...

so i would recommend you to study in which ever college your are studying ...

YOU can not change your collage ,there is not a proceduar to change collage in 2nd year .you should only change your stream in same collage .

if u have a CGPA of 7 or above..u can easily change ur branch to any other branch u like in ur college..
just go to ur registry department n give them an application that u want to change ur branch to a desired branch..
this should be done before the end of ur 1st year..

surely you can..just contact with the proper authority of wbut.. I have personally witnessed a boy has changed his stream in the same college. But he have 9 points in the 1st yr.

Yes you can change you college after passing 1st year of B.Tech..
In my opinion you should not change your college because when you take admission in other college you have to spend money and you time will also waste..
