Re: Can I do Law after passing 12th from Arts?
Hi friend..
You are absolutely eligible to pursue law course after passing your 12th from Arts stream. A student who has studied his 12th from any stream whether it is Science,Commerce or Arts is eligible to do law. But after your 12th,you can join only 5 years LLB course and if you first pursue your graduation, then after it,you can do 3 years LLB.For that, you will have to secure at least 50% in your graduation. There are many colleges in India providing 5 years LLB course. I am listing the name of top 10 colleges in India for this course below:- 1.NLSIU,Bangalore. 2.NALSAR,Hyderabad. 3.NLIU,Bhopal. 4.Symbiosis Law College,Pune. 5.Faculty of Law,DU,Delhi. 6.ILS Law College,Pune. 7.Faculty of Law,BHU,Banaras. 8.Amity Law School,Delhi. 9.University Law College,Banagalore. 10.NUJS,Kolkata. The admission in all the National Law Schools is based on the ranks scored in CLAT (Common Law Admission Test). It is conducted every year in the month of May and around 30,000 students appear in it. If you want to get admission in National Law School, you will have to secure rank of at least around 800. So,there is a tough competition to get admission in them. If you have secured very good percentage in 12th,you can take admission in ILS Law College,Pune. It is a very good college and you can get admission in it if your percentage is at least 92.5. Besides these colleges, there is a seperate exam for admission in Symbiosis Law College,Pune and for Faculty of law,DU,Delhi. I hope you found the information useful. Best of luck. Thanks. With Regards- Vikas. |

Re: Can I do Law after passing 12th from Arts?
Hi
If you want to pursue Law then first of all you have to pursue graduation and then only you can pursue law. You cannot take straight way admission into Law after 12th standard. You can opt for BBA LL.B or B.Com LL.B or B.A LL.B. You can choose any of the above mentioned discipline according to your area of interest. So after graduation you can pursue LLB and you can choose the institutes which offers you the better career opportunities, good scholarships like Lovely Professional University, Aligarh Muslim University. Symbiosis Law School etc. These universities also offer various skill development programs, professional enhancement training and outstanding exposure to its students. |
