Re: Can I do MCA course after completing B.Com? What is the eligibility criteria and fee structure?
In order to join MCA course, the candidate should have gone through Mathematics as one of the subject at your Graduation level or at 10+2 level.
You mentioned that you have completed your Graduation course in B.Com course. This mean that you might not be having Mathematics as one of the subject in your B.Com course. You did not mention the stream that you have gone through in your 10+2. If you possess Mathematics as one of the subject in your 10+2, then you are eligible to join MCA course. If you don't have Mathematics as one of the subject in your 10+2, then I am sorry you are not eligible to join MCA course. The admission to MCA course will be given on the basis of performance in the Entrance Exam. Each and every university will conduct its own entrance exam to give admission for MCA course. If you want to get admission for this course in NITs, then I suggest you to crack NIMCET Exam. Yes. You are eligible to join MCA course even though you are having academic gap. But, you should be able to give proper explanation regarding your academic gap at the time of Interview. As you are having big academic gap, you should be able to be strong enough in subject knowledge to get a good job with good salary. Choose the Entrance Exam which you want to appear for and have good preparation for the same. Try to secure good rank in the Entrance Exam so that you will be given admission for this course in top colleges. Wish you all the best. |

Re: Can I do MCA course after completing B.Com? What is the eligibility criteria and fee structure?
The minimum eligibility criteria to sit for the MCA exam is you have to do your bachelor's degree from any recognized university and get 50%.
You should have mathematics as one of your subject in the 10+2 level. So you are eligible to sit for the exam. The cut off marks for the entrance marks varies from one college to the other. I have uploaded one pdf for you containing the fee structure of some of the government and private institutions. Go through this one. Hope this one helps you. All the best |

Re: Can I do MCA course after completing B.Com? What is the eligibility criteria and fee structure?
Quote:
Eligibility criteria of MCA is that you must be graduated from recognized university. The students from Bca,BBA, bcom can do MCA easily. But some of the universities have compulsion that you must have mathematics as a subject in your 12th std. Academic eligibility includes that you must have passed graduation with 60% marks from any recognized university. For taking admission in MCA you have to clear entrance exam for this course. As per eligibility criteria you are eligible for MCA. Regarding fee structure i would like to say that it varies from college to college so go through that particular college's website in which you want to take admission. Thank you...! |
