Dear Friend,

You can do PhD after completing your Btech. I would suggest you to try for IITs.
As many IITs are calling for PhD after B.Tech and students who appeared for GATE and could not make it to M.Tech in IITs usually called for PhD exam and interview. If you have long term plan for research then this could be a wonderful opportunity. The time duration for PhD is also not well defined and may differ from lab to lab or research area. The maximum time limit for completing your PhD in IITs is 7yrs, but you can easily complete it by 4-5yrs if you stay focused in your research.
Do you have any question? or have anything to say?
