Because without masters dgree you can not apply for phd.

You can do your Ph.D after doing M.Com from a distance learning mode provided your degree is approved by the Distance Education Council or IGNOU.

yes..you can do research in distance learning..most of the people interests to do Ph.d in distance learning (because of their some reasons ..i think) ..No need to hesitate ..okay..you can do Ph.d in distance learning...

as the criteria which is required to do Phd IS GIVEN BELOW

1.graduation & post graduation from UGC or AICTE approved recognication with regular basis course is required.

2.minimum 60% marks in graduation & 55% marks in post graduation is required.
