I am a B.com graduate with 51% in agrigate.I want to do regular B.ed course in orissa .Can I do this course & can I do service in orissa?

You can definitely do Bachelor of Education. After completing the course you will have the opportunity to work as school teacher in government or private schools. Your percentage in B.Com is enough to pursue Bachelor of Education which is one year long course.


I am sure you must have some interest in teaching which is why you have chosen Bachelor of Education. The B.Ed degree is almost essential these days if you want teaching job in government and private schools.


After completing the course as I mentioned earlier you can apply for the teaching job. If you want government job within Orissa then you will have to appear for Orissa Teachers Eligibility Test. If you cleared the exam you will get teaching job in schools run by the Orissa state government.



B.Ed Eligibility

1. A graduation degree in any discipline.

2. Minimum of 50 percent marks in graduation.

3. OBC need 45 percent marks.

4. Requirement for SC/ST is 40 percent marks.

5. Your educational pattern should be 10+2+3



TET Eligibility

1. You must have completed graduation course.

2. Minimum of 50 percent marks in graduation.

3. A B.Ed degree in also mandatory.

4. There is no upper age limit. Although this could vary from state to state.

how much % of mark need to do b.ed in govt colleges?

I have 70% mark in HSC-57% mark in I.Sc and 70% in B.SC aggregate .can i admit in general Odisha B.ed?

i have heard, to do B.ed there is the need of two school subjects as elective or Hons in 3 level.Is it true or what are another conditions needed for State B.ed except career percentage ?
