NDA stand for National Defence Service Exam.This exam is conduct twice time in a year.

The candidate must have a complete the 12th from a recognized university Or equivalent qualification are applicable for NDA exam.Science student are applicable for NDA all branch but Commerce and arts department are applicable for only Indian Army post.

Candidates who are appearing in the 12th examination can also apply for the examination.

The candidate age should between 16.5 years to 19 years.There is no age relaxation for Sc/ST candidate . Only unmarried male candidates are eligible to apply. You must have Citizenship of India.

NDA I is already over so you can apply in NDA II exam.If you are applicable for NDA exam then you can apply for NDA exam before the closing date.

• Last date for the receipt of completed application forms : 04-06-2012
• Date of NDA II Exam : 19-08-2012

for girls height to waight ratio:
4.10-131(min)
6.0--179(Max)

for boys height to waight ratio:
5.1 -145 (min)
6.3-202(max)

UPSC, which carry out NDA entrance exam, has set certain physical qualifications for applicants. These requirements may differ with the age group of the applicants. If you are in the age group of 16-17 years, your weight must be 50kg. If you are in the age group of 17-18 years, you must have 52kg weight. Those who fall in the age group of 18-19 years must possess 53 kg weight.

Studying 12th now.Can i appear for nda exam?

NDA - NATIONAL DEFENCE ACADEMY exam conducted by UPSC twice every year for entry in to Indian Army, Navy and Air Force wing of NDA.

The eligible candidate must be an Indian unmarried male having either appear for the final 12th exam or pass in any stream from a recognised Board within the age of 16.5 to 19 years with good physical fitness.

There is certain physical standard prescribed for NDA to be maintained by the aspiring candidate which should be proportionate to one's height and weight according to the age.
