No you're ineligible to apply for NET Entrance examination after M.Sc course through Open university. Only the candidate who complete their graduation course through recognized university are eligible to apply for this examination. To apply for NET Entrance examination then candidate should be complete Master degree (or) equivalent qualification with 55% percentage of marks from recognized university. The NET ( National Eligibility Test ) is conducted by the University Grands Commission. It is conducted twice in year in month of June and December. This exam is conduct for the purpose of the eligibility lectureship. It is compulsory for who wants to teach at college level . The candidate should passed in post graduation with 55% percentage of marks in recognized university. If SC/ST and OBC candidate should score 50% percentage of marks . The candidate should submit the post graduation degree certificate and other certificate as per the rules.The JRF candidates age should be below 28 years and for other candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/PH/VH will get 5 years relaxation and there is no age limit for lectureship.
