Netaji Subhash Open University offers many postgraduate courses, one of them being Bengali. The paper 5 of the subject is a total descriptive question. The duration of the course is four hours and the maximum marks of the test are 100. The paper is divided into three distinct sections. The first section is of 36 marks. There are four questions out of which two are to be answered. The second section is also of 36 marks. This section consists of six questions out of which three are to be answered, each carrying 12 marks. The last section has eight questions, with a choice to answer any four.
