In order to be eligible for jobs in Government sector, proper recognition of the university, colleges and boards is must. Now, as far as Kuvempu University is concerned, it is recognized by University Grant Commission and so, the courses offered by the university are acceptable all over India. However, courses pursued through distance mode needs approval of Distance Education Council and I am not sure if the university is recognized by the same and if yes, then you will be definitely considered eligible to write Combined Graduate Level examination, even being in the final year of your program. The examination is conducted by Staff Selection Commission and comprise of three stages including two stages of written examination and an interview. As you are in the final year, you will have to make sure that you qualify the final year examination and get the certificate by the time you move on to the second stage of the combined graduate level examination.
