I finished my m.sc chemistry . Can i get the admission in phd programe in any chemical labs through gate like csir-jrf. Will they give felloships during my phd.(5 years).

u can take up an integrated course of 5yrs... with this u get MSc+Phd... IISC, IIT, JNCASR etc will give u stipends..

since you finished Msc, i suggest you do only 2yr Phd rather than wasting 5yrs.. u need to apply seperately.. GATE will not help..

Yes ,you can join phd programs in chemical laboratories through GATE.

The CSIR-JRF program is meant for fresh B.Tech graduates and as well as for general master's degree holders.

The M.sc candidates must have at least 55% percentile in their master's degree exam and should qualify the CSIR-NET exam.

The stipend of a JRF selected through the all India test will be Rs 12000/ p.m for a period of 2 years.

Stipend is increased further to Rs.24000/ p.m after completion of two year fellowship.

the gate exam is for only doing m.tech.if you can qualify GATE then you have a chance to do mtech from a very good institute.so through gate you cann't do phd.

so it is better to do phd directly.which is a two year course.though it is varied man to man....

you have to go through their entrances and with you masters marks which should be above 60%,you can vie for admission.
they take a interview too.
since gate is practically for gate,hence phd admission is possible only for m.tech integrated course.

No this is not possible for you to do phd from gate.
The minimum eligibility for doing Phd is mater degree in any decipline for which you want to do phd.ok.
So first complete your B.Tech then complete master degree as M.Tech.

the scholarship is also given when you will qualified the gate exams.

without doing any master degree you are not eligible for Phd..

i am very sorry to say but through GATE exam you cannot get admission in PhD.for admission they conduct a seperate entrance exam called NET and if you qualify you can do your PhD and you also get stripend for that,

There is no way for a person having MSc chemistry in GATE examination. But yes , you are eligible for CSIR NET examination , but now the forms are closed. If you clear the exam , you will be eligible not only for scholership but also for the vacant posts. You may apply but now the forms are closed.
You can try for the next session.

you can't take admission in phd through GATE exam.
GATE exam is conducted for the admission in master course.means after getting good score in GATE exam you can take admission in M.tech. in reputed engineering colleges like IITs, NITs etc.

for taking admission in phd you have to apply separately.for this you have to see advertisement of the college in which you want to do phd.so be in touch with the leading news papers.

Yes, you can take admission in the Ph.d program through GATE.
GATE exam is conducted for the admission in the M.Tech program

GATE is aimed at the M.Tech aspirants, but if you wish to join for PhD then after the gate scores are announced you can apply directly to the research laboratories like CSIR-JRF.

that is very interesting to take interest in GATE exam that mean you want to do master degree in EC engineering.
