Can I get admission to study B.Tech in IIT after completing B.Sc(Physics)?
Sir,
I am studying B.Sc in Physics. I want to get admission in B.Tech in IIT after my B.Sc. So I am eligible for admission? Kindly tell me about my eligibility. Thank you! |

Yes you are eligible to study B.Tech in IIT after completing B.Sc in Physics but your B.Sc degree will be of no use then.
To get admission in IIT for B.Tech you have appear for IITJEE examination. IITJEE is an all India entrance examination and based on the rank in IITJEE candidate can select the stream in Engineering. ELIGIBILITY FOR IITJEE: -> Candidate have to pass 10+2 with Physics,Chemistry,Mathematics subject. -> Candidate have to score at least 50% in 10+2. -> Age of the candidate must not exceed 21 years. -> Candidate can attempt at most 3 times for IITJEE. Question pattern in IITJEE: * Mathematics 100 Marks. * Physics 50 Marks. *Chemistry 50 Marks. All questions are Multiple Choice type and each contains 1 marks.For any wrong answer 1/3 marks will be deducted. To apply online for IITJEE exam you have to navigate to http://www.jeemain.nic.in |
