I have passed 12th from West Bengal Board of Secondary Education with 80% (Science Stream with Economics as optional subject in 11th and 12th standard). I also have done 1 year diploma corse from NIIT (National Institute of Information Technology) Darjeeling centre.
I am eligible for any government jobs or any bank jobs. If yes then how and where?

After passing 12th with 80% and if you are insterested in banking jobs then you can apply for that.
exams are CWE exams or clerical grade exams. IBPS is counducting exam this year in month of NOVEMBER.

ELIGIBILITY for this exam is 12th pass.

so, you have chance to get into banking sector.

stream . But you 10+2 percentage must be above
55. 2)Your age should be between 18 to 28 years. The age relaxation for Both cases are For SC/ST
candidate- 5 years ,For OBC candidate - 3 years.

There are two stage in BANK CLERICAL selection process.

1. Entrance Exam

2. Personal Interview.

you have to clear both stages to get the job in BANK.

There are four , five part or section IN CLERK ENTRANCE EXAMINATION.

ENGLISH
REASONING
QUANTITATIVE APTITUDE
COMPUTERS
GENERAL AWARENESS

EACH SECTION COVER AT LEAST 50 questions.

you have to cover or perform at least 35 questions correct.
Only after completing 35 questions correct in sections you can think of selections.

you first need to clear the IBPS exam.

yes you are eligible for bank jobs at the age of 29.
then you have to write IBPS(Indian Banking Personal Selection) for bank jobs.
Eligibility criteria for Bank jobs:-
**Educational qualification is graduation in any stream from any recognized university with 50% marks.
**age limit:-
**for General candidates 20 to 30years.
**for BC candidates 20 to 33years.
**for Sc/st graduates 20 to 35years.
the exam pattern has
1.aptitude test
2.group discussion
3.interview
prepare well

You have scored handsomely in 12th after which you can join Govt. Job like Defence sector or Indian Railways.

If you are interested for Defence job then you may apply for NDA(National Defence Academy), the exam of which is conducted by UPSC twice every year for entry in to Indian Army, Navy and Air Force wing of NDA.

The eligible candidate must be an unmarried Indian male having either appear for the 12th final exam or pass from a recognised Board within the age of 16.5 to 19 years with good physical fitness.

If you are interested for Railway job then you may apply for SCRA(Special Class Railway Apprentice) exam conducted by UPSC every year.

The eligible candidate must be an Indian National having completed 12th with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from a recognised Board within the age 17 to 21 years of age.

If you are interested for Bank clerical job then you can do this through SBI or IBPS clerk examination conducted time to time.

The eligible candidate should have completed 12th with 50 to 60% marks from a recognised Board within the age of 18 to 28 years of age.

BANK clerks jobs for 20 Nationalised banks are conducted by IBPS.
SBI holds it own Clerks exams.

Eligibilty for the SBI BANK CLERKS exams:
12th Pass with Minimum 60% marks or Graduation Pass
Age should be between 18 and 28 years


Eligibilty for the IBPS CLERKS exams:
Min educational qualifications is Graduation Pass
Age should be between 20 and 28 years
