To get into Railways after passing +2 is that you need to write the entrance exam for it and the exams which you can write are:

RRB stands for Railway Recruitment Board

RRB Exam is a All India Entrance exam conducted for selecting candidates for railways.

The candidate need to satisfy the needed eligibility criteria framed for the exam and

• General Awareness
• General Intelligence
• General English
• Arithmetic Ability
• Reasoning Ability
• Technical Ability

The duration for the exam is 2 1/2 hours.


Eligibility Needed:

> The candidate need to be a citizen of India

> Candidate should have a age limit of 18-33 years

> Education qualification for the RRB Exam is that the candidate need to have completed a degree from a recognized university

Yes, After +2 you can apply for Railway.
But for this the eligibility criteria are as follows

*The candidates should be +2 pass from any stream .
*The age limit is 18 - 25 yrs.
There is a relaxation for SC/ST & OBC caste.

In my opinion you should continue your study & complete your degree , you should be a graduate in any stream , after which you can apply for any post in RRB with good post & high salary.

*The candidates age limit will be 21 - 30 yrs.
There will be age relaxation for SC/ST & OBC candidates.

It is the Indian Govt. site,. you have fill application form and have to choose the stream ( you can choose multiple streams) if you are eligible you will get chance to RRB test, depend on test performance of RRB test you will be hired.

To join in Indian Railway after 12th class.You should fill the application form of SCRA exam.SCRA stands for Special Class Railway Apprentice.SCRA exam is conducted by Union Public Service Commission every year once.SCRA exam notification will release in the month of October and exam will held on January month every year.

To appear for SCRA exam,you should have completed 12th class with PCM stream from a recognized university and your age should be between 17 to 21 years.

If you fulfill with this criteria,then you can fill this year SCRA exam application.For more details,then see this attachment.
