icompleted b.sc bio tec. how can i get a nice job now ?
i am interested to join in job.

It is really a tough task to get a nice job soon after the completion of your B.Sc in Biotechnology. I will suggest you to go for higher studies rather than looking for the job opportunities and that too for MBA course only.

The trend has changed. Many of the candidates who have completed their B.Sc in Biotechnology are going for MBA course rather than pursuing post graduation in life science courses.

The reason for this is there are very limited number of job opportunities for the candidates of B.Sc or M.Sc in Biotechnology candidates.

In most of the Biotech companies in India, the teams are less in the companies. And for Quality control department, they are giving preference to the Pharmacy candidates as they are strong enough in Formulations rather than B.Sc Biotechnology candidates.

Many of the candidates who have completed M.Sc in Biotechnology are still searching for job opportunities. It is true and going on in the real scenario.

So, Research & Development is the department in which B.Sc Biotechnology candidates can have job opportunities. But even for that also, there is requirement in less numbers.

Every one say that Biotech is in good boom. But I say that it is not developed upto the mark in India.

My sincere suggestion is to go for MBA course which provides you pletny of job opportunities.. You can have science related specializations even in MBA too like
-MBA in Hospital Management
-MBA in Pharmaceutical Management
-MBA in Biotechnology.

Otherwise you may pursue MBA in traditional specializations like Finance, Marketing and HR.

You may find of jobs in biotech, medicine, healthcare areas.
And clinical research can be an option too.

The chances of getting job after graduation alone is difficult.

There are many courses to do after completing B.Sc Biotech degree


1) M.Sc in Biotech.
2) M.Sc in Micro biology.
3) M.Sc in Enviornmental science.
4) M.Sc in Bio Medical.
5) M.Sc(genetics)
6) M.Sc(biology)
7) M.Sc(zoology)
8) M.Sc(biotechnology)

You can do MSc in the following:

1) Nano biotechnology
2) Gene therapy
3) Tissue culture
4) Bioinformatic
5) Genetic engineering

Youa may also go for MBA in biotechnology.There are various MBA institutes which provide MBA in biotechnology and Pharmaceuticals.

Or if you join reputed organisations like the Rajiv Gandhi Institute you will receive a stipend and once you complete PH.d the salary will be as per the UGC pay scale.

i m als a biotech studnt , bt in my opinion its tough 2 gt job aftr b.sc,i thnk u shud do ur m.sc n thr is no joy if u dnt do research as these r applicatn basd fields,we learn v.ls in bsc level...
