hi Gupta, yes you can get scholarships through by getting seats in government allocation by the entrance.

Through CENTAC or any government councelling you can join and get your scholarships.

Eligibility criteria for CBSE scholarships

If your name gets listed in CBSE AIPMT(Final) Examination and CBSE-AIEEE Examination
only then considered for award of CBSE scholarship for pursuing a professional course.

All Girl candidates, who are otherwise eligible and are the only child in the family.

Kishore vaigyanik protsahan yojana is funded by gov. of India. It is conducted by the Indian Institute of Science (IISc, Bangalore). Students are selected from 11th, 12th any U.G. Program in Science / Medicine and also Engineering(b.tech).
Attractive fellowships (4000-7000 pm). Selection is based on academic excellence & interest in research career.
The last date for receiving applications is 12-9-2011. You can submitt your form at www.kvpy.org.in

yes ,if you can join the Govt. colleges through counseling . So the college is most important in case of scholarship .
