yes you are eligible, but the papers comprises of only four branch that is ME,ECE,CIVIL,EE so if you have some knowledge about this field's then you can clear the paper so it's your choice which paper you will choose(ME,ECE,CIVIL,EE) best of luck |

if you want to give I E S exam ...then i tell you that computer science engineers are not eligible for giving the I E S exam ....so sorry friend ..
but you can prefare for any other U P S C exam... ok best of luck. |

yes of course you are eligible if u hav any degree in engineering or equivalent but for giving the IES exam you have to choose one paper out of the four i.e Mech,Civil,Electrical or electronics....

sorry to say you that computer science students are not eligible to sit for the IESexam following branches are eligible to it for the ies exam: 1 mechanical 2 electrical 3 civil 4 electronics ok all the best |

According to my knowledge, i think you are not eligible because in I E S exams only four branches have this opportunity like ME, ECE, CIVIL, EE. So, sorry you are not eligible for apply in UPSC Engineering Service exams............ |

i think that you are not eligible for upsc since computer strem is not included in it at the best of my knowledge . but you can look for some other entrance exams conducted by upsc . for more details visit http://www.upsc.gov.in hope your doubt to be solved . feel free to post as many doubts as possible,we are here to solve your doubts as much as possible cheers

I regret to say that you are not eligible for applying for the IES exam. This exam which is conducted by the UPSC each year is only for the engineering branches: ME,CIVIL,EE,ECE Good luck! |

the UPSC organise IES for only four branches: 1)civil 2)mechanical 3)electrical 4)electronics so computer science candidate is not applicable for IES. |

Yes ofcourse you are eligible for UPSC Engineering services exams.
Engineering Services Exam Eligibility: Age Eligibility: You need to be between 21 years to 30 years on the 1st August, 2011. Age relaxations exist as per Govt. rules.
