Hi,

I hv done my MBA from IIPM. This is a degree affiliated from IMI, Europe & not approved by AICTE. Can i go for NET & Ph.D if I do another MBA through correspondence.

Yes, you can give the NET exam after MBA but you can go for the NET & ph.d exam only in that case if your subject comes under the subject list of UGC & you have scored above 55% marks in your masters degree.So for the subject list visit at-

criteria for NET exam:-

At least a Master’s Degree OR equivalent examination from universities/institutions recognized by UGC in Humanities (including languages) and Social Sciences, Computer Science & Applications, Electronic Science etc. are eligible for this Test.

SC / ST / PH / VH: 50% marks (without rounding off)

Others: 55% marks (without rounding off)

I am a Science graduate (Zoology H). Now I'm doing MBA from SMUDE. How it wold be if I opt Finance as my Specialisation subject. Now I'm studying in Patna but I want to transfer my learning center to Chennai. Please tell me about smu learning centers in Chennai and also the transfer procedure.
