i am in 12th. I hav pcmb group. So can i join afmc?..please provide to me the details

yes dear you can join AFMC with these subjects.
but you have to qualify at first this exam there exam is very tough.
so you have to prepare well.
if possible then join any coaching centers in your near by region.

Dear friend,

The full name of AFMC is Armed Force Medical College. This entrance exam is conducted by AFMC for the selection of candidates in the madical seats of AFMC. This college is situated in Pune. This is a National Level Medical Entrance exam. This is the first medical college of India. This is the very populated medical college of India. After completing MBBS course from AFMC you can get job in Armed Force.

Eligibility criteria:-

1)- Educational Qualification-

• You should have completed 12th class from a recognized board.
  
• You should have Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English subject in 12th.
  
• You should have minimum 60% marks in 12th.
  
• You should have atleast 50% marks in English.

2)- Age Limits-

• Your age should be in between 17 to 25 years.
  
• There is 5 years age relaxation for the candidates belonging to OBC, SC/ST category.

Important Notifications:-

• Entrance Exam --> 1st week of May.
• Application purchased date --> From December 3rd week 2010 to January last week
• Final date of submitting the form --> February 1st week
• Results will be published by last week of May
• Interview will be by June

Exam Pattern:-

Total no. of Questions- 200
Time Duration - 120 minutes

There are total 50 questions from Biology.
50 questions from Chemistry
50 questions from Physics
25 questions on Intelligence, Logic and Reasoning
25 questions on English Language and Comprehension.

There will be negative marking of 1/4 marks for each incorrect answer.

Yes,you will able to take Admission in AFMC Medical College,Mumbai.
But from this Year there is a common Medical Entrance test in which you will have to appear and get passed.
Apart from this you will also have to registered yourself for Admission in AFMC.For this you will have to visit its official website and apply for Admission.

In order to Appear in CBSE NEET Exam,you will require the following Eligibility:-

Educational Qualification:-
>>You must be passed out in 10+2.
>>Your stream should be Science.
>>You must be passed out in Physics,Chemistry & Biology.

Age :-
>>Your minimum age should be 17 years.
>>Your age should not be above 25 years.

Marks:-
>>If you belong from the General category then your minimum marks should be 50%.
>>If you belong from the SC/ST/OBC then your minimum marks should be 40%.

Exam Pattern:-

Questions in this exam will be from Physics,Chemistry & Biology.It will be objective type.

Physics - Total number of questions will be 45.
Chemistry - Total number of questions will be 45.
Biology(Botany & Zoology) - Total number of questions will be 90.

Total duration of this Exam will be 03 hours.

Last date to Apply for this Exam is 31/12/2012.
Last date to Apply for this Exam with Fine is 31/01/2013.

I got 58 marks in physics, 60 in chemistry, 61in biology, 96 in English. I belong to obc category. Am I eligible for afmc

Do i have to give neet or aipmt for admission in afmc.
Do i have to refer through the cbse books? Or is it okay if i refer to maharashtra state board books.after that is there any seprate examination for afmc??
