Can I join B.Sc Agriculture after completing my 12th MPC stream?
I want to do B.Sc with specialization in Agriculture but I have completed my 12th in MPC stream. Is there any opportunity to do that course? What if I clear entrance exams?

Yes, an MPC student can study agriculture but i think state universities will not allow.
you need to apply for private colleges . This is because you need to have physics, biology and chemistry in your 12th. |

Re: Can I join B.Sc Agriculture after completing my 12th MPC stream?
Having completed 10+2 with MPC stream, you are eligible to get admission for B.Sc Agriculture.
B.Sc Agriculture is a 4 year Graduation level course being offered by many Agricultural colleges in India. As a part of eligibility, one should have completed 10+2 with Physics,Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology subjects. Some colleges will give direct admission and most of the colleges will conduct some Entrance Exam and Group Discussion or will give admission on the basis of score in ICAR Entrance Exam. This course is really a good choice for those candidates who completed 10+2 with BIPC stream, the reason being they get a strong foundation in Biology subject which will be really helpful to understand the subjects in this course and to score well. Having completed MPC stream, you will find it difficult to understand the subjects. However if you do hard work, you can also learn it quickly. |
