CA stands for the Chartered Accountancy Course. There are three levels of this course which are as below:

1. Common Proficiency test.

2. Integrated Professional Competence Course.

3. Final course.

CPT is conducted twice every year in June and December by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.

10+2 passed or appearing candidates can apply for this test. So after 10+2 you can appear for this test.

It contains questions from following sections: 200 objective type questions.

>>Accounting: 60 marks

>>Mercantile laws: 40 marks

>>Economics: 50 marks

>>Quantitative Aptitude: 50 marks

Every wrong answer has 0.25 negative marks. You need to score minimum of 30% marks in each section and overall 50% aggregate to clear this test.

The last date for online application of CA CPT June exam was 28/04/2015. If you have not applied still, you can apply with fine and the application fee will Rs 1000 including fine.

Yes, you can apply for Chartered Accountancy Course after 12th class.

There are three levels in C.A namely:

>>IPCC
>>Final
Those who have completed 12th class from approved schools in any stream can apply for this level.

Those who are graduates in commerce or non commerce with more than 50% marks can apply for IPCC directly. CPT cleared students can also apply for this.

No dear you can't join direct completion of Inter. You have to write Entrance exam for CA called "CPT " (Common Proficiency Test). And the Procedure to become CA is little bit confusing. but actually the process is very easy.

For clear idea to join in CA course you need to follow each and every step carefully.

First thing there is a separate root for Intermediate candidates and graduated candidates.

Step wise Procedure for CA :

1. Write a Exam called " CPT ( Computer Proficiency Course )

2.Then according to this course you need to prepare for IPCC.

3.Actually CPT exam is held twice in a year in the months of July and December

4.For July month you should have registered before 60 days from the notification.

5.After cleared the examination of IPCC you can article ship about 2 years.

Thus you can write CA finals after clearing all the above steps through Intermediate.

In order to become a Chartered Accountant (CA), you must first complete the Intermediate course of the Institute of Chartered Accountants (ICAI). This is the minimum educational requirement for admission to the CA course. After completing the Intermediate course, you can then apply to join the CA course, which is a three-year program consisting of theoretical and practical training.
